1. Who we are

SoulmateOdds ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at soulmateodds.com — a free, anonymous dating odds calculator and mutual match finder. We are not a traditional dating platform and do not collect personal identifying information.

2. What we collect

When you use the SoulmateOdds calculator, we collect nothing by default. All calculations happen in your browser. No data is transmitted to our servers simply by using the calculator.

If you choose to save your profile to our database (optional), we store:

• An anonymous match code (e.g., MF-XXXX-XXXX) — generated randomly
• Your gender and sexual orientation
• Your age
• Your general location (state or metro area, not precise location)
• Your encoded preferences (diet, religion, lifestyle factors, etc.)
• The date the profile was created

We do not collect or store:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Photos of any kind
• IP addresses linked to profiles
• Device identifiers
• Precise GPS location
• Any payment information

3. AI photo rating

If you use the optional AI attractiveness rating feature, your photo is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's Claude AI API for analysis. We never receive, see, or store your photo. The photo goes from your device to the AI and the AI's numerical rating is returned. The photo is not retained by us or by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API call.

4. How we use your information

The anonymous profile data you optionally save is used solely to:

• Enable mutual match checking with other users
• Allow you to reload your profile in a future session using your match code
• Generate aggregate, anonymized statistics about our user base (e.g., "X% of users are in California")

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. The only third-party services involved in operating SoulmateOdds are:

• Supabase — our database provider, where anonymous profiles are stored. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and stores data in the United States.
• Anthropic — the AI provider used for the optional photo rating feature. Photos are processed and immediately discarded.
• Cloudflare — used as a proxy for API requests. No user data is retained.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete your anonymous profile at any time. On the results page of the calculator, enter your match code in the "Delete my profile" section and click Delete. Your profile will be permanently removed from our database immediately.

Because we store no identifying information, we cannot identify your profile without your match code. Please save your match code if you wish to delete your profile later.

7. Cookies and tracking

SoulmateOdds does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. We may use basic, anonymous analytics (such as page view counts) to understand how the site is used, but these do not identify individual users.

8. Children's privacy

SoulmateOdds is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We require users to confirm they are 18+ before saving a profile. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Anonymous profiles are stored in a secured database with row-level security policies. Because we store no personal identifying information, the risk to users from a data breach is minimal — there is no name, email, or contact information to expose.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SoulmateOdds after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
